I just started some new paintings, the backgrounds are mostly done. Not sure what I am going to paint on them but I am thinking of following my Sakura theme.....

 

Enjoying my new little studio, it's situated in an area of our town that's warmly referred to as the "surf ghetto" and it has a lot of local charm and lot's of resin fumes from surfboards being glassed next store. It's a happy little spot:-). I'll post the finished paintings when I'm done.

Scrap Time came by the Creative Imaginations booth at CHA and took this video during my demo time. As much as I don't like to be on camera, I thought I'd post this because these sticky2 rub-ons and foils can be confusing until you see how easily they work. One of the most important things about the foils is that it is always "pretty side up" or "color up"..Check out the video to learn more about these products.

Sakura Collection and Product Mock-ups

The big CHA show has come and gone and it was (as always) so much fun to see all the new products coming out and visit with colleagues. I ran into Claudine Hellmuth and she said "It's like summer camp", which it truly is:-).

Here is a peek at another new line through Creative Imaginations called Sakura. 

My favorite part of these collections is always the embellishments. I love these new die-cut designs.

and seeing the projects the design team does is a highlight. Here is a layout by our DT coordinator, Cheryl Mezzetti. 

I wanted to show one more thing. It's my goal this year to develop  a few more licensing partnerships so I'm in the midst of reformatting some of my designs onto different product types. I bought  this from Phyllis Dobbs and have been having a blast doing mock-ups. I think Sakura would be a fun bedding collection:-)
