Chances are, if you're visiting this blog you are an artist or crafter and you will appreciate the great treasure I found. For years I've used vintage ephemera in my collage work and have had a few pieces of old french ledger sheets given to me by my dear friend Linda Blinn, many years ago. I've cherished and used them sparingly. That has all changed now because I came across the motherload of vintage ledger books right near my home in a very random way and I seriously found a TREASURE....to the non-artist, they look like junk....but to me it's better than gold....
and I'm happily creating and using them freely.
I was so excited about my find and needed to make something quick so I got my stencils and spaypaint out and created some floral pages....instant gratification!
I also pulled some stamps out from my archive of stamps I've designed for Stampington and Company...SO FUN!!
And speaking of stamps...I'm teaching two mixed media classes at Stamping Details on August 18. Below are the book samples and more details to follow in a few days. We will be using my "Beautiful You" paper and fabric as well as my "Oceanside" papers in the class....
