It's been SO SO long since I've logged on to this poor neglected blog. It's much easier for me to post on my Facebook business page (see the link above) or to Instagram the latest bit of studio news.
My Instagram is: Christine Adolph Design. I'd love if you requested to follow.
Here's a few tidbits from around here...
I've been creating lot's of studio messes and painting big again.
Seashore flora and fauna is always my main inspiration. I've been painting with a variety of techniques and media and experimenting with different substrates. I'm always revisiting old artwork, creating new and also mixing a bit of it together...basically a lot of juxtaposing.
I've had some new products come out in the last six months. Here's one that I LOVE...journals..(other products introduced by a variety of manufacturers were wall art, trunks, quilt fabric, paper, greeting cards, kitchen textiles, gift bags, etc)
I'm super excited about this book project I did with Harvest House publishers that just released on Feb. 1!
Since I can't show the new art I'm working on I'll share this recent sunset I just enjoyed with my two girls.
I've been learning a few new art techniques lately. My friend Pam Garrison taught me how to book bind and got me started back into my art journals.
Last weekend I took Stephanie Lee's Plaster piecework class at Studio Cresendoh...I learned SO much in this class and can't wait to get some of the supplies and experiment deeper. I did these 12 pieces in class.
Every year I say that this will be the year that I put a good website together and be better about updating my blog. I'm hoping it's true....so stay tuned and thanks SO much for coming by.
Blessings....xo
