For those fellow design junkies, I wanted to share a great blog. It is called Design*Sponge and it is very cool. This girl does her research! I have discovered some really amazing designers. Great for getting inspiration!
Well this painting is definitely vintage....I think I did it about 3 years ago. Those were the days when i was just making art to make art, no deadlines! Don't get me wrong I am not complaining at all I am just remembering simpler times before I started the licensing business. This year I am going to commit myself to getting back into the paints, the mediums, the fabrics and foils and just playing again. I would like to get some of that tactile inspiration back into my work. I have a lot of ideas for sharing techniques and project on this blog so check back often to see what is new in the studio.
I have created a few photo albums with some of my older work , idea notebook , altered books and some of my flowers and butterflies . On the right side of the blog I will post some of the new product that is coming out in spring. Later I will post some of my older product and show some homedecor and papercrafting projects that I have been doing with the papers. My plans are also to do some product give aways here.
Getting ready for the big CHA show in Las Vegas. I am leaving on Sunday and of course have lots to do so I better go!
